Blind & Curtain Fitter: Part Time

We are looking for an experienced, self-employed blinds and curtains fitter to assist in our busy and growing business in South Devon.

We spend as much time as it takes to finding out exactly what effect our customers are aiming for. After all, happy customers keep on coming back.

Role & Location

Working up to 21 hours per week as a sub-contractor in the PL postcode area, you will fit:

• – Standard, closed cassette and open cassette roller blinds
• – Vertical blinds
• – Aluminium and wooden venetian blinds
• – Intu-type blinds in conservatories, UPVC windows and doors

Requirements

You will have your own transport and a full driving licence, public liability insurance and a basic toolkit suitable for this work.

We also ask that the successful candidate have a DBS criminal record check, as they may be working with vulnerable people.

Job Type: Part-time.

Person Spec & Training

A can-do, problem-solving attitude and a commitment to customer care are essential.

A good knowledge of blinds and the ability to repair them is desirable.

You will work with our chief fitter for 2-3 weeks, in order to ensure that you work to our existing high standards. After this, you will deliver and fit blinds to customers houses and to offices in the Plymouth area, collecting payment on completion of the job.

Salary

Up to £15.00 /hour depending on skills and experience
